Can pool kits be customized?
Yes. You can build a pool kit from scratch or start from a pre-configured package, and customize the size, shape, liner and equipment either way.
Customizing is not a fallback for when the catalog does not fit. It is one of two ways to buy an inground pool kit from Royal Swimming Pools, and both are offered for every shape.
Two ways to start
- Custom pool build. Design your entire pool from scratch, choosing each option to create the layout you want.
- Pre-configured pool kits. Start from our most popular options, pre-selected for an easier design, then adjust from there.
What you can customize
Inground pool kits can be customized around the size, shape, liner style and equipment your project needs.
Our Pool Kit Configurator lets you compare options and plan a package around your backyard space.
Shapes, including your own
Royal Swimming Pools offers inground pools in many shapes and sizes, from rectangles and Grecian designs to L-shape, lagoon and kidney layouts.
Standard shapes can be adjusted too. A Grecian pool has a standard corner diagonal of 6 feet, and that angle can be customized.
If none of the standard shapes suit, a freeform pool can replicate almost any shape you can imagine.
Your wall system matters
How far you can customize depends partly on your walls. Steel walls offer unlimited customization, with tighter turns and angles than polymer, so they are the option to look at for an unusual shape.
