To meet ANSI standards you have to place your front jig bolt* a certain amount a space away from your pools edge. Don't worry... we have a calculator to help!
The front jig bolt is the part of your diving board that connects to the ground and is closest to the pools edge. See diagram below.

They have an easy-to-use calculator allowing you to put in a couple of your swimming pool's measurements in order to get this distance to keep your pool in accordance with ANSI code standards (aka. place your diving board at the safest location for use).
