Operating the Hayward ColorLogic Light

Unless you have a ColorLogic Light Controller or another compatible control system, you can control your Hayward ColorLogic light by power-cycling it from the switch.

Power-cycling the Hayward ColorLogic light lets you turn the light on or off and advance to the next fixed color or light show without a special controller or interface.

How Power-Cycling Controls the Light

Use the light switch to control the ColorLogic light:

Action What to Do
Turn the light on Turn on the switch.
Turn the light off Turn off the switch.
Advance to the next program Turn the switch off, then back on within 10 seconds.

What Happens When the Light Turns Back On

When the light has been off for more than 60 seconds and is turned on again, it will come on white for 15 seconds to give you a quick, clear view of the pool. After that, it will return to the last fixed color or color show it was running.

    Important Note

Avoid rapidly cycling the switch during the first 15 seconds after the light turns on. Wait until the startup sequence finishes before changing to the next color or light show.
